2024 BASEBALL LEAGUE/TRYOUT INFORMATION

KICKBALL (Coed Ages 3-5) This is a basic instructional league and played on Sunday mornings. 

Players will be assigned to a team by March 25th.  The season will start Sunday April 7th weather permitting.  Kickball is a Coed sport.

T-BALL (all kindergarteners)  --  This instructional league will begin its practices on Saturday, April 6th,  and will continue every Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. thru June.  Players will be assigned to teams and notified by March 25th.  Players receive a hat and t‑shirt.

INSTRUCTIONAL (all 1st Graders & 2nd graders, 2nd graders can be evaluated and move up to AAA) – This instructional league will begin its practices on Saturday April 6th. They will continue on Saturdays and also 1 evening during the week thru June.  Players will be assigned to teams and notified by March 25th.  Players receive a hat and sponsor t-shirt.

AAA LEAGUE  (all approved 2nd graders [per evaluation], 3rd graders and 4th graders not playing in the Major Leagues)  --  This instructional league will begin its practices on Saturday, April 6th, and will continue one or two weeknights per week (approx.. 6‑8 p.m.) and every Saturday from 11 to 1 p.m. thru June.  Players will be assigned to teams and notified by March 25th.  Players receive a hat, t‑shirt, and pants.  2nd grade evaluations will be Saturday February 24th (time will be determined later).

MAJOR LEAGUE (4th-6th graders, subject to tryouts)  --  Tryouts will be held on Saturday, February 24th.  www.fairlawnallsports.com  and e-mails from Fair Lawn All-Sports will confirm the location and time.  All eligible players who did not play in the Majors during 2023 must attend the tryouts to be selected to play in the Majors in 2024. 

If you can’t attend the February 24th tryout, please write a note at the top of your registration form, and you will be notified by e-mail of our make-up tryout date.  Selected players will be notified by Tuesday night, March 5th.

CHUCK O’CONNOR LEAGUE  (all 7th-9th graders)  --  Tryouts for all eligible players who did not play in this league during 2023 will be held on Saturday, February 24th. www.fairlawnallsports.com  and e-mails from Fair Lawn All-Sports will confirm the location and time.  Attendance at the tryouts is strongly recommended, although all new registrants will be assigned to teams and notified by Tuesday night, March 8th.  The tryouts will be held as follows:

MAJOR & O’CONNOR LEAGUES  --  Try-outs location to be determined.  Team practices begin the week of March 14th, weather permitting and at the coaches’ discretion.  Games begin on April 6 and continue thru early June, generally two weeknights per week and possibly on Saturday.  Players receive a hat, t‑shirt, pants, and socks.
