Field Assignments for Sunday June 12, 2022 - LAST SESSION!

See below for field assignments

Welcome to Youth Kickball!

This very popular program is designed for 3-5 year old who are Fair Lawn residents.

Registration for this program closed on March 4, 2022.

Please consider becoming a Volunteer Coach. The requirements are simple and there's no better way to spend an hour a week playing with your child and their friends! Use the option within the registration page to sign up as a Coach.

Non-Coach Parents are NOT Allowed on the playing field.

***********************

Kickball will be played on Sunday mornings between 9-10am from April 3rd (weather permitting) through June 12th.
There will be no kickball Easter Sunday April 17th or Memorial Day weekend, Sunday May 29th.

All sessions will take place at the “Center Rec” turf complex behind Fair Lawn High School.

In order for your child to be eligible to participate in kickball, you must be a current resident of Fair Lawn and your child must be between the ages of 3 and 5 as of April 2022 and be potty trained.

This is NOT A DROP OFF EVENT! Due to the young age of our participants, someone MUST be available at the field for the duration of EVERY session.

You should also create a SportsEngine account and download the app so that you can stay informed on our season. We will be using SportsEngine for all communication including field assignments, cancellations, etc.

WHAT DOES YOUR PLAYER NEED??

  • WATER - plenty of water for them - we are unable to supply water, so it is essential that they bring their own.
  • Appropriate clothing - check the weather and dress in layers. We will be providing a team shirt that they can put over what any additional layers they may want to keep warm. It is a short sleeved shirt so plan to layer them underneath if necessary
  • Sneakers are fine for play - turf shoes are NOT required - no open toe or slides are allowed.

WHAT TEAM IS MY PLAYER ON?

Teams have been posted and are available within the SportsEngine app – you will need to know your player’s team to know which field to report to on Opening Day!

Download the app and login using the email address a password use when you registered. For a 2nd guardian to also be able to login and view, please follow the ADD GUARDIAN process - instructions are available at these links:

Please be sure to regularly update your players availability for each weeks session. SportsEngine is a great tool to communicate directly with your teams’ coaches and vice versa. Our entire schedule for the season is loaded for each team (thanks Liz Estersohn!). If you know you’re going to miss a week, go ahead and it put that now. Try and have your players availability updated in the app by Wednesday of each week as coaches plan ahead for the weekend.

SportsEngine can also synchronize to your phones calendar. This is a great way for the event to hold time and provide field location directly in your preferred calendar. To Sync Your Team Schedule to a Calendar Application

1.      Sign into the SportsEngine Mobile app and go to the Schedule tab of your user dashboard.

2.      In the top-right corner of the screen, click Sync Schedule.

3.      Follow the steps for your desired calendar (Apple, Google, or Other Calendar)
