GIRLS SOFTBALL PROGRAM – 2025

Please note:  Registrations will CLOSE 1/15/25 or when teams reach capacity based on player/coach ratios.

SOFTBALL T-Ball – Grade: Kindergarten

Program starts April 1 and will continue every Saturday from 9 to 11 am through early June.  Players receive a t-shirt and pants.

The goal of this program is to introduce the proper mechanics of fielding, throwing and hitting. Then to further experience the game of softball, the girls will be hitting off a tee in game playing situations. Equipment needed: bat, helmet, fielding glove.

INSTRUCTIONAL SOFTBALL LEAGUE – Grades 1 & 2

This program starts April 1 and continues through early June.  Practice/Games held on Tuesdays from 6 to 8 pm and Saturdays from 11 am – 1 pm.  Players are assigned to teams.  Players receive a t-shirt and pants.

The goal of this instructional program is to develop basic softball skills such as fielding, hitting, throwing and base running through practice and non-competitive league play. Players will be introduced to pitching mechanics although the coaches will pitch to their players in games. Equipment needed: bat, helmet, fielding glove, cleats, fielder’s face mask strongly recommended.

INTERMEDIATE SOFTBALL LEAGUE – Grades 3 & 4

This program starts April 1 and continues through early June.  Practice/Games held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6 – 8 pm and Saturdays from 1 – 3 pm.  Players are assigned to teams.   Players receive a t-shirt and pants.

The goal of this modified competitive program is to provide players the opportunity to further develop their skills and understanding of the game.  Emphasis is on basic skills with the players pitching in games. Games to be played in a league versus other nearby towns.  Equipment needed: bat, helmet, fielding glove, cleats, fielder’s face mask strongly recommended.

JUNIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE – Grades 5 & 6 - This is a DRAFTED league.

This program begins on or about April 1 and continues through late May (or longer depending upon timing of playoffs and Championship).  Regular season games are on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 6 – 8 pm and will include travel to play in a local league.   There may be a rare occasion where a game will be scheduled on an alternate day due to league and weather constraints. Players receive a shirt and pants.

This competitive program is geared to further player and team skill levels.  New players are drafted to make the teams even.  Requests cannot be honored.  Teams will compete and results are posted.  League & playoff championships held.Equipment needed: bat, helmet, fielding glove, cleats, fielder’s face mask strongly recommended.

 All girls will be redrafted. 6th graders that played in this league last year will be not necessarily be on the same team as the previous year.

SENIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE – Grades 7, 8 & 9- This is a DRAFTED league.  

This program begins on or about April 1 and continues through late May (or longer depending upon timing of playoffs and Championship).  Regular season games are on weeknights with start times beginning at 6 pm and as late as 8 pm and as in previous years, will include travel to play in a local league. Players receive a shirt and pants.

This competitive program is geared to further player and team skill levels.  New players are drafted to make the teams even.  Requests cannot be honored.  Teams will compete and results are posted.  League & playoff championships held.Equipment needed: bat, helmet, fielding glove, cleats, fielder’s face mask strongly recommended.
